MATC have another Modular Tower that is destined for an airfield in Southern Africa. Delivery of the Communication equipment in the next few weeks will be the final part of a system providing Ground to Air communications, ADS-B for local area surveillance, and a Crash Telephone system for Local Emergency services. The Modular Tower Concept is proving very popular for customers who do not need the full mobility offered by our trailers but do need to be able to provide either an easily transportable semi-permanent solution, or a longer-term ATC facility on a budget less than a permanent tower would require. Both options can provide Welfare Facilities, Office space or equipment rooms for larger ATC equipment requirements.
Award of Fixed Tower Installation

MATC has utilised our Mobile and Modular Tower experience to propose a small system for a fixed site in the Middle East. In January 2022 we were awarded the contract and after a successful site visit placed orders for the VHF and UHF communications systems, ADS-B, and Meteorology System. The system will be installed later in the year – more to follow as we progress that project.
MATC is extremely proud to be able to share that one of our Modular ATC Towers, shown here with its protective transport covers still on, has successfully been deployed to support the World Defence Show (WDS) at the Royal Saudi Falcon Club. The tower was deployed to support the Air Show and Flying Displays after a rapid development of the airfield as the site for the first WDS. Equipped with a full communication suite from Jotron including a 3 position VCS, 3 Channels each of Main and Standby VHF and UHF Radios, a Dual Redundant Voice Recorder, and Dual GPS Timer Servers. Other equipment supplied included ADS-B, ICOM FM Management Radio, 6kVA UPS, Meteorology System, and a Crash Telephone system.

MATC successfully passed its ISO9001-2025 annual recertification process with SGS and we were extremely pleased to receive the following positive feedback:

The positive feedback and recertification confirm that even as a small company we are able to apply the highest industry standards to assure our customers that we are dedicated to offering the best possible service and products.
Mobile ATC is always pleased to see our towers in use, especially where the need is greatest.
Here is a picture of our Compact Trailer at Kukes Airport shown behind a Chinook we are told is deploying firefighting equipment to assist with wildfires in the region. I am sure the rain helps but stay safe out there.
