New Website Goes Live

Reading Time: 3 Minutes

As many of you who helped MATC with gathering opinions and about our old website may recall Mobile ATC Systems Ltd has been working on a new website. We are pleased to say that working with our new friends at Dijitul we launched the new website on the 13th August 2020. We believe it represents a new fresh approach to how customers, new and old, will find us and will hopefully provide enough information to whet appetites and encourage people to contact us.

The new website gives some information about each product but MATC firmly believes that communicating directly with the customer is far more important than trying to have every detail of what we can do listed on the website. The aim of the website is to encourage potential customers to reach out and talk with us as we pride ourselves on the personal touch and our flexibility and customer service we can provide from design to delivery.

Compact Tow Bar Trailer – Progress

Reading Time: 3 Minutes

It has been a few weeks since Mobile ATC returned to work and it’s nice to see that requests for information and quotations are beginning to ramp up to pre-COVID days. Only time will tell if the budgets survive but we remain optimistic and ready to support customers technically and commercially.

In the meantime, our new Compact Elevating ATC Tower is coming on nicely at our fabrication partners NEAT vehicles and we expect to have it ready for integration within the next few weeks. Store cupboards, hydraulics, and electrics next for the trailer: ceiling laminate and floor coverings, glazing, blinds, and console fit for the cabin: spray bay for undercoat, finish, and anti-corrosion finish throughout before type approval for the roads. Seriously quality work at NEAT!

We are excited about this project as not only will it be available for demonstration and immediate sale as a stock item, but we are going to equip it to a base level so it could be rented out to support temporary operations such as events, airport upgrades, and disaster relieve as an immediately available asset.

If anyone is interested in rental, please contact us to discuss options.

Time to press “Play”…
Firstly, we hope our followers are safe and well, and our thoughts are with those who have been adversely impacted by COVID. We also want to pass on our deep gratitude to all those key workers that have allowed us to get through what is hopefully the worst of this and start to get the country working again. THANK YOU!

Using our “downtime” well, and with help from our friends at NEAT, we now offer a wider range of towers to market.

Modular Towers. Designed to be transported by commercial vehicles and erected using a HIAB or crane these 10ft or 20ft cabins can be stacked on multiuse containers or a supporting frame. A wrap-around staircase is provided but larger units with internal stairs are available. Designed for longer-term deployment, or as alternatives to standard construction towers these modular solutions will provide decades of use.

4×4 Mobile VCR. Where rapid deployment of a small VCR is required, we have designed an off-road capability based on a purpose-built 4×4 LGV chassis. With room for 2-3 operators, it is self-contained and can be deployed very quickly by road or air. The VCR “glass house” is hydraulically supported so that it can be lowered when in “air transport” mode and raised in situ to provide good all-round visibility.

Time to hit “Pause”

Reading Time: 3 Minutes

For our small part in trying to resist this outbreak and following the UK Gov advice issued last night, MATC, and our good friends and associates at NEAT Vehicles have paused our manufacturing so that we can keep everyone involved with our builds safe. Work will continue from home for things that can be done but until we get the all-clear to return to work, we “Pause”.

In the workshop right now is the framework for the first of our new small design elevating trailers that were due to be ready in a few weeks. This was to be an “off the shelf” unit for purchase or rental for anyone needing a unit for events, disaster relief, or rapid deployment needs on a smaller scale. It will be a little late coming to completion, but we are excited to offer something new based on a proven design and an experienced team. We look forward to showing the completed solution in a few months… if you want to know more just ask.
